This beautiful American Eagle comes protected in a direct fit, "Air-Tite" capsule. It is a legal tender silver dollar coin authorized by the United States government. Makes an excellent (and affordable) gift! The obverse design features Adolph A. Weinman's stunning Walking Liberty design dating back to 1916, with an ever hopeful Liberty striding confidently toward the sunrise, draped in the strength of the Stars and Stripes carrying in her arms branches of laurel and oak to symbolize both civil and military glory. The reverse design, by United States Mint sculptor John Mercanti, features a striking heraldic eagle with shield, and olive branch in the right talon and arrows in the left.

Capsule is misleading.,

I did purchase this item. It is a 2011 Americain Silver Eagle coin, it was in Brillant Uncirculated condition. It was in a 2X2 plastic sleeve. Not an "Air-Tite" capsule. The picture is a coin encapsuled by NGC. Not the "Air-Tite" that was sold. You could have put it in a cardboard flap or a plastic coin holder to fulfill the "Air-Tite" as stated. please correct.
