This is a great book to use as a guide to find out what coin dealers will pay for your coins.

I love this nook, thanks to it, because i learned how much my coins cost on the market. Also its very simple to understand what you are looking for on this book.

I had previously used the 2010 edition when I sold some of my coin collection, and immediately bought the 2011 edition to help assess expected value for my next sale in 2011.

This book has been published for decades and regularly updated. I have dozens of older editions. I have found it to be the most reliable guide published in its field. I intend never to be without a current copy. Combining buying this book with the ease of purchase afforded me by AMAZON makes all such books on all such subjects the easiest form of personal transaction available to me as well as to the public.

If you're new to coin collecting or an avid US coin collector, this book gives more realistic values for your mint state Mercury dimes, Buffalo nickels, Morgan silver $ or whatever. I think the bluebook shows what a coin dealer may offer if you plan to sell your collection. The conservative estimates provided are also helpful when appraising your collection.

My husband is a collector and counts on this each year as a part of his information. It has never failed him. I will continue to buy this each year. The dictionary of coin collectors.

After I bought this book I found the same book in spiral bound format. Anyone considering this book should look for the spiral bound edition.
