I am a Weight Watchers leader and this is not being sold by Weight Watchers and is HEAVILY marked up!,
This review is from: 2011 Weight Watchers Points Plus Calculator
This is NOT being sold by Weight Watchers (see the "sold by" info) Weight Watchers never sells their products on Amazon or Ebay and never marks them up to gouge the consumer. It's being sold by someone who bought them from Weight Watchers for $12 and jacked up the price to an ungodly amount and You do not have to be a member to buy these at any Weight Watchers location, or any other foods or supplies that we sell for that matter. We sell these for $12 with no shipping and no tax added on at any Weight Watchers location. Just walk in to any center or meeting to buy one. We sell things to non-members all the time. It is part of our service and leaders are required to do so. That said, be aware that this won't help you figure out how many points you personally need to lose weight (aka your daily target) and not slow your metabolism or eat too much. The only way to do that is with the Weight Watchers quiz in book one. You may need anywhere from 18-44 points and everyone is different but, if you know all that information and need one...don't get ripped off. I hate to see anyone take advantage of someone trying to get healthy by jacking up the price to this extreme of an amount when Weight Watchers is all over the world so everyone has access to the ten buck points calculator. On the other hand, if you are unable to leave your home and don't mind paying the markup and shipping charges, which is the only reason I could see to purchase in this manner, well then...it's a handy points calculator. This one is not a regular calculator as well like the 2009 model so if you need that you should know it...but it's handy to have.

Deceived by advertisement,

Well say hello to a fool...I thought this calculator was the newest model and had more functions. I ordered it (thinking I would get a newer square model) and received the $9.95 oval version I saw at WW site. I also did research but the wording in the ads fooled me this time. BUYER BEWARE. This is a rip off!!! I purchased it for with shipping $32.94.

This is a great product, but too expensive. It only costs $10 at WW mtgs, and you don't have to be a WW member to buy their products. Great time saver at the grocery store!

Nice enough for when you're away from the computer...,
This review is from: 2011 Weight Watchers Points Plus Calculator
But, you still need to know the calories and nutrition info for all the foods you consume in order to calculate the points on this device. Also, I only paid $9.99 for this at weightwatchers.com. $79 or whatever could be one of the greatest rip-offs known to man (hopefully the price listed here on Amazon was just a typo).

WW Point Calculator,
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
Little did I know that Weight Watchers was about to totally change
their program on 11/29 and the calculator would become obsolete! I gave it as a gift and now it can't be used.

Overpriced,
This review is from: 2011 Weight Watchers Points Plus Calculator
At my local Weight Watchers meeting I was told they should have the calculators available by April 2011. They compeletly sold out of the first production run. Do not buy one on Amazon or some overpriced auction site but instead go to a local meeting and purchase one for a nominal price. Or buy one directly from Weight Watchers.

awesome for on the go! But way over priced!,
This review is from: 2011 Weight Watchers Points Plus Calculator
This handy little calculator is awesome for keeping track of your points used during the day as well as tracking your weekly allowance. All you do is type in your age, gender, height and weight and choose either to lose or maintain and it automatically gives you your pointsplus daily allowance. I gave it one star to warn you not to buy online! TOTALLY MARKED UP!!!!! Find a meeting in your area and buy one for under $12 regular price or on sale now for $5.95. You do not have to be a member to buy products just walk right in. I did!

Outdated,

Weight Watchers has just revamped their entire program making this item totally useless. It will not calculate the new Points Plus values now being used. Attend a meeting and purchase the new one for much less money, or go to any Weight Watchers store location.
