On the plus side, the magnet is very strong and holds well.

I have ordered this calendar for about five years now. It is one of the few calendars that can hold activities for a busy family of six, the pictures are fun, and the bottom pocket is essential for keeping reminders, game schedules, etc. I combine Mom and Dad's activities on the first line, and then the four kids each get their own line. I rarely use the stickers because they take up too much room, but my younger kids enjoy using the stickers for art projects, so they don't go to waste. The only down side about this year's calendar (for me at least) is that it is more than 6 inches longer than previous versions (total dimensions are 12x27 when fully open--I wish the description had emphasized the new size!). So now I have to move my wall hook to a different spot to accomodate the calendar (otherwise it will cover the kitchen light switch). I'm not crazy about putting another hole in the wall, but I do appreciate the extra space for tracking our activities. Incidentally, the new calendar is currently hanging on my refrigerator door (until I move the wall hook) and the magnets hold up really well. The calendar has not fallen down once despite heavy use of the refrigerator, so it should work well if you plan to use the magnet for hanging. Not sure if I'm going to use the extra whiteboard (already have one), but my kids will enjoy using it for art.

I have used these calendars for about 5 years now. There are four of us that are busy with lots of different things. They keep everyone's activities easy to see and plan for. I'd be lost without it. The extra months mean that you can switch calenders in August so that you have one calendar that covers the entire school year. The pocket is handy for things that are too far out to be on the current calendar, or for game/show schedules, etc.

I've used this all year. I have 4 kids, two of which are teens, a grade schooler and a 1 yr old. They are all very busy, I have a small business and my husband is in the military part time. So we need a calendar that can keep track of all of us. The pocket rips easily. The month pages are too heavy to stay under the plastic holder so they always fall down. I had to tape it up there but then can't look at previous months. Some of the lines where you write names don't line up with the calendar lines making it difficult to tell who is on which line. I wish the stickers were removable instead of permanent. I didn't like it, but my family hated it.

On the plus side, the magnet is very strong and holds well.

I've been using this calendar for years. I like the format with individual's names on the left and the corresponding colored blocks going across for each week to be filled in with activities. Two complaints though. As another reviewer mentioned I didn't know that the size increased from last year and now I'm on Amazon looking for a smaller calendar (too big for our refrigerator). Also, the artwork is a bit goofy and I *really* don't like that it covers some of the grid where I need to fill in activities. I end up using white out over the drawing. Last year I got the version that had no illustrations, just graphic designs, it was much better. This year's version is all purple, kind of frumpy. Just because these calenders are aimed at Moms doesn't mean we don't like something modern, graphic and without all the cutesy references to family life. Make it classy and not frumpy!

For the past two years, I make a point of buying one of these every year and it goes on my refrigerator. It's our master calendar for every one in the house. It's very useful that you can track more than one person's activity at a time (it has a side area for everyone's names and each day has a corresponding line just for that person). All the stickers it comes with are also really helpful, especially for my 4 year old. She can look for a sticker in her line and knows what's coming up.

I just got my planner in the mail today and I love it! The colors are vibrant which I love. The planner has indeed increased in size....6 1/2 inches in length, 1 inch in width. I don't mind the extra size because now the spaces are bigger, and I don't have write so small. Also, the stickers used to take up more than half of the spaces, problem solved now! The size increase also means a bigger pocket. The pocket is not meant to hold a ton of stuff, otherwise it will rip. I usually put coupons, gift cards, and insurance cards in there. I have kept much more, but it does weigh the pocket forward if you do. I have never had a problem with the pages staying under the clip. It might help to fold the calendar backward at the crease to keep the pages straight. There are many other calendar designs available from this manufacturer to tailor to all types of moms. For example, there is a Family Plan-It that has the same name set up as the Mom's Plan-It. I ordered my calendar from the manufacturer for only a few dollars. And with shipping, it was significantly less than anywhere else. So I ordered a few for friends. Other buyers complained about the paper quality being different from years ago. It's just fine to me. Some of the Plan-It calendars have name spaces that are all the same color. If your pages don't lie 100% flat, this could be an issue lining the name up to the space. This one, however, does have every other space shaded. This way, even if you don't line the name up, you still become used to knowing whose name is on which line and it really doesn't matter. Our calendar is set up where dad is first, mom's second, oldest child, youngest, then the dog! Overall, I am happy with this purchase! Also, the new week-at-a glance white board is okay. Not sure that I will use it often...maybe just for important family reminders. FYI, it does not come with a dry erase marker. Hope this review helps!
