Great novel. Not sure what to expect when I purchased it, but wow.
From nail bitting suspense to the amazing ending. I still have my hair standing on end. Do yourself a favor and read this book...

To the poster before me. I hope you finish the book the ending is mind blowing. As for the title its perfect, again if you had finished the book you might understand that.

Waking of the prophets is a story created to give meaning to the changing of consciousness. Hahn embodies the idea that a shift is coming and is needed in consciousness.

Waking of The Prophets will allow you escape the walls of reality and grasp the idea of a new reality. Within the pages of this well written story are truths you will carry forever. Growth within your self will be the result. Take a journey with Judah and expand your own awareness.

I read this book because I expected it to be some sort of mystery thriller, due to its title and the way amazon describes it. So the beginning of the story was quite entertaining, but later on the story gets stuck up in tons of boring details and for pages on pages there is nothing happening at all. Just talk and ever repeating characterisations and memories. It seems the idea was to describe the (rather simple constructed) protagonists way of life to the very last unimportant detail, more than to entertain the reader and to keep the story going on. I gave up after reading through half of this annoying babble. This is another book nobody needs, because if the author only wanted to wisecrack about how we should change ourselves, then she could well have given the book a different title so no goodwilling reader would fall for it. And amazon should have made a clearer description of its contents. This book is ever so lukewarm. It is neither thrilling nor well written for those who love all-talk plots and character descriptions. I am gonna put in in the trash for good now.
