The Best Birth DVD,
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review is from: 2012 (Audio CD)
We opted for this DVD rather than make the one hour trip to the hospital for the weekly classes, and while I've never sat through a 6+ hour Lamaze class, I felt this DVD was a good alternative. The instruction can be a bit comical, however, it's very informative without being too preachy. As the instructor (Sarah McMoyler) puts it when discussing epidurals, "it's not a contest." Her position is that a woman's body is made to give birth, but if you feel you want/need an epidural or other pain meds, it's your decision and it's nothing to feel guilty about. She is all about giving you the information you need to make educated decisions before and, most importantly, during labor.

I ordered this DVD to help prepare for childbirth and was SHOCKED to receive an audio CD entitled "2012" by a band called Vampire Lezbos. DO NOT ORDER THIS PRODUCT IF YOU ARE ACTUALLY LOOKING FOR THE BEST BIRTH DVD.
