This book is a compilation of several different authors. It explains the Mayan calendar and why 2012 is not the end of the world. The details on the Mayan timeline are fascinating. This book is a must read for many people who are seeking to understand more about the significance of the galactic alignment in 2012. Rather than focusing on the 2012 'fear, uncertainty and doubt' this book more importantly discusses what we as the human race need to understand and address within each of us so that we are in alignment with the consciousness shift that is already happening. There is a chapter in this book that is written by Gill Edwards. It is taken from her book titled "Conscious Medicine". Her explanation of the linkages between our thoughts and our health and how healing can truly begin is superbly written. This book is current and full of insightful gems. I just finished it today and logged on tonight to buy copies for people I know who would love to read this book.

The Beginning is Here, by Jim Young (ed.), contains a spectacular array of information, and much to think about, which opens the door to discerning my own view about the end of the Mayan Calendar. It is highly informative, yet remains hopeful, heading me inward, to the only place of real Truth for me. This is a MUST READ! Tell your friends about it...

Well written and compelling! This book is essential and timely reading for all people who are awake and concerned with theirs and the planet's evolution. There is no doubt that December 21, 2012 will be a huge energy event!
