5.0 out of 5 stars Lots of inspiration in a very portable calendar April 16, 2013

I love this calendar and am so glad I found it. The quotes are excellent - a very high proportion of them really hit the mark. Usually, I have to search for those that do.

Particularly helpful and inspiring for entrepreneurs and any one who faces challenges in their work life. Helps with maintaining perspective and keeping up your spirits!

The small size? That's my favorite part. I can put it in my pocket if I want to and get a dose of inspiration while stuck in line at the grocery store or the bank. I can easily move it from next to my computer (where it usually sits) to my bedside table and so on, and it hardly takes up any room.

I'm already looking forward to the 2014 edition.

1.0 out of 5 stars Don't waste your money February 7, 2013

Calendar cost over $10and when it came it was only 1 1/2 x 3 inches or so. Extremely disappointed. Should have paid attention to the description, but most desk calendars of that type are at least 4 x 4 inches. This was a gift that I had shippped directly - how embarrassing.

5.0 out of 5 stars Tiny Delight January 9, 2013
Format:Calendar|Amazon Verified Purchase
I like to start my day with something inspiring and, for that reason, keep a daily calendar in the bathroom. There used to be a great publisher in San Francisco that produced really great day-by-day inspirational calendars. Unfortunately, they went bankrupt. I tried the "Keep Calm And Carry On" calendar and it was awful. Treacley daily thoughts, most of which seemed to come from movies.

This year, happily, I found "Win the Day!"

It is tiny, only 2-1/4 by 3 inches. But the design is nice and most importantly of all, the quotations have been carefully curated by someone with good taste. I haven't gone through the entire calendar - don't want to diminish the surprise each new day may bring - but the first nine days of January been excellent.

"Win the Day!" is a tiny gem. It even has four magnets on the back to secure it to metal surfaces. I use it with fold-out easel back.

Obviously, I am impressed and very glad I found this item.
