Book Description

2013 US Calendar – Simply Beautiful

This Kindle book is a quick-and-easy-to-use 2013 calendar. It contains a separate page for each month with a photo, as well as a field at the top of the page for quick note recording. This field contains all the days of the given month – for you to be able to record a note for each day.
On the book’s pages, one for each month, I have also stated the number of the week in the year, together with other important items of information like federal holidays and non-working days, plus reminders for the two clock setting days, in March and November. Besides months, the book also contains the full-year calendar for 2013 and 2014, as well as a brief set of instructions on how to record notes.
Important information related to settings:

When you perform the settings for Kindle, pay attention to two things:
• Displaying should be in "portrait" mode (i.e. press the Aa button on the main page, screen rotation thus becomes first).

• The font size should be a maximum of 3 (this is the default value).
Line spacing maximum: medium, Words per Line: default. (These are all default values.)

To ensure that the calendar stores notes not only in Kindle MyClippings.txt, you must allow "Annotation Backups" in "Settings":

Press "Home", then "Menu", and select "Settings"! Go to the third page, where you will find "Annotation Backups". "Turn on", if it is not turned on.
Once you have done this, all your notes will appear on your own page. Log in and click on the "2013 Us Calendar" under "Your books". All the notes you created in the calendar after turning on "Annotation Backups" will be posted here and you will also be able to share them on your community sites (Facebook, google, twitter) or to make them public on Amazon.

You can also create notes comfortably on your own pc using the "kindle for pc" program: download the book from the "cloud" (Synch and check for new items - or press F5), then select the day of your choice or right-click on it. A small window will appear, in which you can create a note or selection.

When you are finished, remember to synchronise (F5), so that your note becomes available on and on your Kindle reader. (View it full screen, so that the picture does not get pushed to the next page.)

4.0 out of 5 stars A darn handy calendar to have! December 21, 2012
By Coach D
Format:Kindle Edition|Verified Purchase
I have this calendar on my Kindle Keyboard and on my Fire (where it looks really good in color). Once you adjust the font size to properly display each month life is good. Each month lists some key dates, like when Daylight Savings kicks in (useful to me as a soccer coach when I plan out when to start having practices in the fall and spring). I am also going to install this on my wife's Kindle. You can add notes to remind you of birthdays and such. A low cost nice little feature to have. I can see myself using this a lot in the coming year!

2.0 out of 5 stars Accessing information is difficult March 2, 2013
Format:Kindle Edition|Verified Purchase
I tried this product on my Kindle PaperWhite, and found it difficult to both enter information and later access that information. The pictures are nice, but they don't help me keep track of my appointments. Perhaps it works better on a larger-screen Kindle.

2.0 out of 5 stars 2013 Calendar January 16, 2013
Format:Kindle Edition
That is what it is just a calendar. Something you would hang on the refrigerator for seeing what day it is.

More About the Author

Andreas Ceatos was born in 1974. He grew up in a tiny village and escaped to the library from the era's communist spirit. Since then he has been a fan of books: he continued his studies in a printing trade secondary school, where he had the opportunity to write as many books (into the computer) as he wanted and could muster. The trade he was studying was called "phototypesetter operator" :), which really sounds funny - and meant that texts are produced not manually, with the use of lead types, but with the assistance of a computer.

At college, he walked further on this path: he became a printing engineer. He later also graduated as an IT engineer, which provided him with the skills that came really handy when editing e-books.

Andreas Ceatos now lives in Budapest with his wife and four children. He loves to tell stories to his kids - mostly out of his own head, not from books, as he always reads aloud something completely different from what the book says. This habit finally drove him to writing a richly illustrated storybook entitled Robbie Stories. The next volume of these stories in on the way as his kids keep nagging him for new stories. Besides, a book for grownups is also in preparation.
