5.0 out of 5 stars GREAT SCI FI
This is a journey through one possible future America. It is also a warning about the future. Race relations, water shortage and the loss of freedom are some of the issues discussed. The story is appropriate for all ages. Highly recommended.

2.0 out of 5 stars Predictable
As you start reading the book is good and maybe kind of thrilling. As you keep reading the book becomes predictable because is the story of Cuba 50 years ago or Russia 100 years ago. When the "bad" guys found two girls in the woods you'll know exactly how this book will end.

A great tale of escape from a different USA as a result of the tremendous culture change brought about by unrestricted immigration.
