History comes to life with the people and events of the past century. Listen to Martin Luther King, Jr. make his epoch-making speeches or watch videos of the Berlin wall coming down--all from your computer terminal.

OUTSTANDING,

This review is from: 20TH Century Day By Day (CD-ROM)
This is a very fun CD that is highly interactive and creative in its presentation. It's loaded with news articles of the century and many audio and video clips.
Biographies of the most important figures in the 20th Century. I actually purchased a package that had this CD together with DK's Encyclopedia of History.. which is an abbreviated world history. Excellent timelines on both CD's. Keyword searches. These two CD's were made in 1997 but are still very relevant today. A companion website unfortunately is no longer supported. I had to download a patch to make it work on XP but perhaps the one mentioned above is already compatible. These CD's helped me fall in love with history and appreciating major events as well as little ones and the suffering of many across the window of history. Well worth it. You won't regret buying this CD.

This CD does not run on newer operating systems and the company offers no support or upgrades. I bought this product and was completely unable to use it.
