Editorial Reviews

Product Description
Macon Greyson's stereo-pulsing rock displayed on their fourth studio album, 20th Century Accidents, showcases their activist lyrics while remaining devoted to their background as a guitar rock band. Paralleling protest songs from the 1970's closely in both sound and lyrical content, the critically-acclaimed group from Dallas is drumming their brazen ballads all over the international spectrum. Influenced tremendously by the satirical writings of Kurt Vonnegut, Macon Greyson now use their songs as a like-minded platform for themes of unrest and demonstration. The anthems on Accidents prevail as the perfect sound track to any opposition against the powers that be, while still showcasing the group's talent for crafting catchy melodies.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great Band, April 7, 2009
By Bikerman (Des Moines) - See all my reviews
Just saw these guy's in Dubuque, IA last friday nite. Very impressed. Great sound. The band was also very cool, taking the time to chat with my wife and me. Go see these guy's if they are in your neck of the woods.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great music, great band, March 24, 2009
Macon Greyson rocks. If you haven't discovered them, you should. If you hear that they're in your town, you should go. If you like alternative country and rocking bands like Wilco and Son Volt, Macon Greyson is going to hit your chords.

5.0 out of 5 stars Always a good buy, August 27, 2008
By Randy "Randy" (Dallas,Tx, USA) - See all my reviews
If you are looking to buy a CD, take a chance on these guys. Macon Greyson sounds good and the band members are down to earth. One of these guys actually has a phD in molecular biology--who would think?

I own their other CD's, (which are hard to find, but worth finding) and I have enjoyed all of them.

The actual sound/style is hard to describe....70's/Bluegrass/Rock? It is hard not to like their music...

Hope this helps!

2.0 out of 5 stars Not that great
If you are familiar with Macon Greyson's old work, steer far clear of this album. It falls far short of their past releases. Read more
