SHE SOUNDS LIKE SHE LOOKS,

CHELY WRIGHT IS PROBABLY THE MOST ATTRACTIVE FEMALE COUNTRY SINGER EVER. HOWEVER, IT'S THE VOICE THAT COUNTS TO US ALBUM BUYERS. WELL I CAN ASSURE YOU, HER VOICE IS LIKE HER LOOKS.
THE ONLY UNFORTUNATE THING ABOUT THIS DVD IS THAT THERE ARE ONLY FIVE SONGS ON IT, BUT QUALITY ALWAYS OUTWEIGHS QUANTITY. SHE OPENS WITH THE GOOD VIDEO 'SHUT UP AND DRIVE', FOLLOWED BY THE BRILLIANT 'IT WAS', CONTINUES WITH HER BIG HIT 'SINGLE WHITE FEMALE', TURNS IN A STUNNING PERFORMANCE WITH 'NEVER LOVE YOU ENOUGH', AND FINISHES WITH THE FUN 'JEZEBEL'. SHE IS CERTAINLY GOING TO BE ONE OF COUNTRY MUSIC'S GREATS IF SHE CARRIES ON GOING ALONG THE ROAD SHE'S GOING, SO GET ON BOARD AT THIS EARLY STAGE BECAUSE THIS DVD WILL BECOME A COLLECTOR'S ITEM. ABSOLUTELY BRILLIANT!

Classic Videos out on DVD, finally. 20th Century Masters releases only 6 videos. Great picture and sound. Patti Labelle looks great & classy in all those clips, I know they seem a bit dated... you know with all the 80's hairdos & outfits. You gotta check out her shoe tossing techniques in "If You Asked Me To". "Oh People" remains a very inspiring song and "On My Own" is even more touching by looking at both singers onscreen...

Although I was basically looking for one video (If You Asked Me To), I was expecting this collection to be more than just 4 music videos for the price. Patti is always exceptional so I am enjoying the videos.

If Pattie LaBelle came on stage and just stood there for an hour I would give her a standing ovation just for being who she is. A singer who sang the songs SHE wanted to sing. An Artist who sang the songs the way SHE wanted to sing them. Any DVD or CD that has anything on it that has to do with Patti is worth having in your collection. This FABULOUS DVD is no exception....Patti.. the ULTIMATE DIVA!! Love..Dennis Troy
