This is a well compiled sampler, but theres no need for a sample of the Velvets.
While the overall level of quality on Universal's "Millenium Collections" has been a bit dubious, this is actually one of the better ones.
This compilation is pointless; it misses a lot and would give the first-time listener a very skewed impression of the band.
