Best of the 1980's,
By Buddym (Hamilton, Ontario Canada) - See all my reviews
This review is from: 20th Century Masters: Millennium Collection (Audio CD)
Clearly, this CD is different than 1970's Jennings. More focused and the arrangements are slicker than his major hits. Don't let that fool you, even when Waylon is performing in the middle of such a smooth Nashville he still has the EDGE we all love.

Waylon Is The Best,
By "kittiepaws" (Mulberry, FL United States) - See all my reviews

There is no such thing as a bad CD when it comes to Waylon. His voice is unique, and his style is all his own. For the very few who have taken this opportunity to degrade this CD as not being his best or that none of his top hits are on it, didn't you look at the song list before buying the CD? They are all wonderful songs performed by a wonderful man. I know I speak for millions around the world when I say we will miss him dearly...may he rest in peace.

You can't go wrong with Waylon. Although this album doesn't have as many "hits" persay as his other albums; it has a lot of great stuff most people tend to overlook. As far as I'm concerned, if Waylon sings it, it's good. I'm very pleased with this album.

Well worth $10,

These songs are just from the MCA years, but well worth the money. However, for $10 more, you can now get all his MCA work on a new compilation. Either way you're getting some great songs, most that got little air play, if any, on the lame country radio.

A Great Greatest Hits Collection.,
This review is from: 20th Century Masters: Millennium Collection (Audio CD)
I Grewed Up On Most Of These Songs. They Are Songs From 1987 To 1989. "Rough And Rowdy Days", "Rose In Paridse" Are My Favorites On Here. I Can Remember This Signer When He Sanged The Theme From The 1980's TV Show Called "The Dukes Of Hazzard." He Sanged "Just The Good Ol' Boys" Which Opened For Every "Dukes Of Hazzard" Episode.

Absolutely Terrible Song Selection,
By
This review is from: 20th Century Masters: Millennium Collection (Audio CD)
As a "greatest hits" compilation, this one's an absolute failure. Not one of his major hits is here. There are plenty of other Waylon albums better than this. For newcomers, start with his GREATEST HITS VOL.1, and go from there.
