The vocal stylings of Ray, Goodman & Brown are legendary since the late 60's & early 70's of the "Moments" (aka Ray, Goodman & Brown) one of the greatest ballad groups in R&B. These guys sang like there were 5 voices instead of only three. The emotions invoked by this group can bring out the best in a romance. Legendary love songs like "Part of You", "Inside of You", & "Happy Anniversary" are done with flair and sensetivity. The soaring first tenor throughout these classic melodies is a treat and sound better & better with age. For a true fan of the male groups of the 60's, 70's & 80's with tight harmony like the Stylistics, Temps, & Spinners can't afford to pass this one up. You and that special love will enjoy every melody and the intricate vocal interweavings. Great stuff!!!!

This 12-track compilation of RG&B's best Polydor recordings from 1979-83 is chock-full of timeless ballads from one of R&B's all-time best groups. The liner notes are also very informative and the sound quality on all 12 songs is excellent. My only complaint is that their 1986 hit "Take It To The Limit" was omitted from this otherwise excellent collection.

I purchased the CD for one song, Happy Anniversary. I was pleasantly surprised that there were great songs throughout the entire CD. They did a great job in the lyrics, orchestration, rhythm and overall production in all the songs. A great piece of work.

I CAN'T GET ENOUGH OF THIS SOUND! IT MAKES MY WHOLE BEING WORTH LIVING FOR. IN THESE HARD FINANCIAL TIMES, SOME OF US ARE FACING & SOME NOT! I AM WILLING TO EAT TOP RAMEN NOODLES! I AM WILLING TO RIDE THE BUS! I AM WILLINIG TO CUT MY CABLE DOWN TO THE BARE BASICS! I AM WILLING TO DO ALMOST ANYTHING (LEGAL) TO GET MY HANDS ON THEIR MUSIC. SIMPLY PUT "I LOVE THEM" AND I ALWAYS WILL! THE BEST GROUP IN THE WORLD, THE BEST VOICES IN THE WORLD! THREE VERY SEXY, VERY HANDSOME AND VERY SMOOTH MEN, THAT GOD HAS EVER CREATED. LOVE, LOVE, LOVE THEM!

THIS A MUSIC LOVERS CD. OLD SKOOL WITH SOULFUL SOUNDS! I ENJOY THIS CD VERY MUCH!

20th Century Masters: Millennium Collection - The Best of Ray,Goodman, and Brown I enjoyed the harmonies and the great singing, however I only recognised one or two songs, so I did not enjoy the CD as much as I thought. I will play this CD again, maybe I will discover something I missed the first time.

The Moments or Ray Goodman and Brown were the Champs of Love Ballards Harry Ray and Billy Brown sang in such harmony and smoothness it's like seeing clouds and hearing Angels.Al Goodman bass voicals are magic. There not a group to compare with them.

These three guys I hardly remember as one of the best Soul singers back in the 70s, were simply extraordinary singers.

Go straight to Track 6 "Special Lady"... Then enjoy the rest! A must-have for any serious Soul music collector.
