3.0 out of 5 stars Nice idea, but I like Greatest Hits better
Nice idea that Geffen Records would release its own collection of Bobby Brown, but I like the 14-song CD that MCA released in 2000 better. It has his more definitive and funkier songs. And it's longer, 63 minutes. This one has a lot of songs from Don't Be Cruel, but he did more songs after that high creative peak he had in 1988 and 1989. Good attempt, but this is too...

Good attempt, but this is too much of an attempt to one up over the longer compilation albums by Bobby and New Edition on the market.

5.0 out of 5 stars GO BOBBY BROWN, September 2, 2005
This review is from: 20th Century Masters: Millennium Collection (Audio CD)
BOBBY BROWN IS A TALENTED BROTHER. THE MEDIA DESTROYED HIS IMAGE BECAUSE OF WHO HE IS AND WHO HE IS MARRIED TO. DESPITE THE FACT THAT BOBBY GOT INTO A LITTLE TROUBLE SO WHAT EVERYONE GET CAUGHT UP SOMETIME OR ANOTHER. BUT THE FACT STILL REMAINS BOBBY STILL CAN SING AND IS A GREAT DANCER. HE STARTED ALL THE HOTS DANCES AND STILL TELL THIS DAY BOBBY IS STILL THE BAD BOY OF R&B. HIS SHOW BEING BOBBY BROWN IS A HIT AS WELL.

My favorite r&b artist in the 90's. Forget about the drama in his life. This collection will keep you dancin'. "Rock Witch'a" is one of my favorite love songs EVER. Play it for your girl and watch what happens. I DARE YOU. New Edition's finest!

If you are looking for just the key hits and don't want to get too many album cuts that you've never heard of, then I suggest that you get this album instead of the sanctioned "greatest hits" package. The quality is good, the songs run in chronologic order, the price is very low for the value, and you even get the hard to find guilty pleasure "On our own" (from the "Ghostbusters II soundtrack").
