These tests do work. I've had a confusing time with these tests. The tests state that if you read them after 5 minutes you can get a false positive. I had assumed I was getting a false positive because I was reading the tests after 5 min & getting a very weak positive.

I figured these were just cheap tests when I got my period any way, but it turns out I had a very early miscarriage that I was only aware of b/c we were trying to get pregnant.

I did an experiment after I knew I was no longer pregnant & read the test after 5, 15, & 45 minutes...no "false" positives this time as the directions state you may get. So if you are TTC these tests are worth the price & the LH ovulation tests this company makes work to. So I have to change this to 5 stars not 3.

I bought these after testing many times for many months and spending way TOO much money at the drug store! I have only had my earliest results with clearblue easy digital. These tests are great and they gave me the same positive result the same day as the clearblue easy (of course i had to test it and see if these were worth it!!) ugh!!.... anyways... dont go spending tons of money... use these! Wait the 5 minutes (or more) for your results.... a positive does not show up right away.

Arrived quickly. These no-frills tests work fine at telling me i'm not pregnant. Glad I didn't blow a bunch of cash for peace of mind. Instructions are printed on each packet. Easy to use, and less plastic to throw away than with the mid-stream tests. Nice to have a big pack.

Received the tests quickly and was shocked to see how early on I was able to detect my pregnancy (only about 6-7 days past ovulation/conception)! The test line was very faint, but definately was there!!! With all the extra tests, I've been able to take a test every couple days to watch the test line get darker and darker with my rising HcG levels. Test also worked well within the 5 min. stated time (I saw some reviews suggested to allow more, but the package only calls for 5 min.). After this baby comes, I'll be coming back to this seller for all other test strips I need!

These work well and they're cheap. They're great just to have on hand whether you're trying to conceive or not. I bought some other pregnancy test strips that go down to 10mIU and these work just as well. You can use the package they come in as a "cup" (note: these are strips that need to be dipped, they aren't midstream pregnancy tests).

These tests do work. Like the previous reviewer stated, an early positive result will take longer than 5 minutes to show up and the line will be faint. I've never gotten an evaporation line while using these tests. Like other pregnancy tests, the positive line will get darker as the HCG levels increase.

I started testing at about 9 dpo...at first they were negative, but by day 12 the test line was getting darker and darker. I called for a doctor appointment and got in the same day. They did a urine test, it was negative, so they sent me down for bloodwork. After I got home from doing the bloodwork I took another one of these tests and it positive, with a pretty dark line. The doctor's office just called with the results of my bloodwork, and it came back negative for any signs of HCG. I am throwing the rest of these tests away and will never buy these again. Very disappointed. Maybe I just got a defective batch, but I had quite a few positive tests.

I received these tests yesterday (very fast shipping, btw) and they look good to me! I am not pregnant right now, but I used a test anyway to see what to expect when it comes time to test for pregnancy. In the past I have used cheapie tests that give a faint line no matter what and I am happy to say this test was a very white negative. I like that these tests are sturdier and thicker than the blue-handled tests I've used in the past. Hopefully I can update this review with a BFP soon!

UPDATE: I used these days starting at 7dpo (I know, too early, but I wanted to get a nice progression if indeed pregnant) and got a very faint positive 9 days past ovulation. Today (10 days past ovulation, 1/18/11) I got a very nice second line. I am very, very impressed with these tests! Never got this kind or result on a blue-handled tests. I will definitely buy these again. I added my test to the image gallery.

Faint positive 6 days before missed period. Very sensitive but you will have to look closely. Fun to see the line darker and darker with each passing day too.

I literally was at my doctor's office on July 19th for a visit concerning ailments that could be associated with pregnancy, but turned out to be from an adverse reaction to allergy medicine. Anyways, a full blood panel was ordered including a pregnancy test. Pregnancy test came back negative. I was not surprised, as my ovulation date was the 16-17th of July and would have been too early for a positive blood test result anyways. I started using these strips on the 21 of July despite the negative blood test, because we had been trying to conceive. Here were the results:
21: negative
22: very faint positive
23: faint positive
24: clear positive
At that point I got a digital pregnancy test,because I had read reviews that these strips were not accurate for people and sure enough positive. The strips started showing signs of hcg 9 days before my period was due to start. I would have to say these are very sensitive and accurate. I went to my doctor's office exactly a week after my previous blood test and sure
enough it was positive.
