Fish nets used for decoration were very popular in the Sixties, but are very difficult to find now. Once they decorated game rooms and pool houses across America, hanging on walls festooned with starfish, shells, or whatnot. The net I found so conveniently on Amazon is large (20X8 feet) lightweight nylon (?) in white, but easily dyed any color or even tie-dyed. It arrives in an 8.5X11 envelope and unfolds for easy use. It is exactly what I needed and already gets numerous compliments from friends. I am very satisfied.

I originally ordered this so that I could use it to cover my pool toys and prevent them from blowing around the yard and pool when it's rainy and windy. When it arrived, i felt it might be too light to do this so I ended up using it as decoration on our back fence. It looks very nice. Not exactly what I ordered it for but turned out to be a nice touch to our yard. We live by the ocean, so it's an appropriate fence decor by the pool. I am still going to look for a heavier mesh netting to hold my pool toys against the side fence.
