About the Author
Author Al Tarvin was born in Atlanta, Georgia. He left home at the age of 14 and live alone until he joined the Air Force at 18. He well understands abusive situations because he lived through many of them as a child and later when he was on his own. Tarvin has always leaned toward the weaker members of society. It was not an accident that he undertook this tremendous task of writing the stories of 21 women who lived in abusive situaitons. Tarvin is a novalists and this is his only none-fiction book. He is the Author of the Chelsea novel series, which in themselves contain various types of abusive situaitons, althougth written as fiction. Other novels scheduled for publication in 1999 include THE PREACHER'S DAUGHTER, THE WIFE OF A PREACHER, AND TILL DEATH DO US PART.
