5.0 out of 5 stars The Esoteric Primer of The 70's Still Reads True
Thea Alexander has experienced her changes and passages since the first printing of 2150 AD, along with all those who followed the Macro Philosophy expressed in her writing. From time to time, I still read the Macro Philosphy books I purchased from her group in Tempe, AZ and have used them as a springboard to higher spiritual realities. The bottom line story of Jon...

1.0 out of 5 stars Philosophical rubbish!
Jon falls asleep in 1976 and wakes up in 2150 A.D. He finds that mindkind has evolved into MacroMan leaving behind the ways of "microman". In this future, there is telepathy, telekinesis and precognition. People are aware of their prior lives and can commit suicide and move on to their next reincarnation when they feel that they have learned all they can from the current...

5.0 out of 5 stars The Esoteric Primer of The 70's Still Reads True, January 8, 2000
This review is from: 2150 A. D. (Paperback)
The bottom line story of Jon Lake and his follower-friends still rings true today, as it has for centuries, that is - fear is stronger than love here on Earthschool. And, those who's fear is the strongest will try the hardest to crush pure Love without ever realizing that Love in its purest form can never be eradicated -- it just calmly moves on to the next level -- as did Jon and Carol. All was perfect in Thea's book, and all is absolutely perfect here and now - it is as it should be.

The subliminal comfort of 2150 AD's message would read the same today as it did then. Read it for yourself and see !

5.0 out of 5 stars Most Perspective broadening book I'Ve ever read!, August 9, 1999
By A Customer
This review is from: 2150 A. D. (Mass Market Paperback)
First read this book in 1983. I've read and re-read it many times since then. It literally changed my life after I started applying the concepts presented to my daily life. Though billed as sci-fi in it's 1984 revised edition, practical application of the concepts presented will authenticate their reality.

5.0 out of 5 stars Well Worth the Time..., February 1, 2000
This review is from: 2150 A. D. (Mass Market Paperback)
Not so coincidentally I found this book in the discard bin at a local library... As an avid book collector in the "esoteric" or more spiritual types of literature I could not pass up the opportunity to take the "freebee" home despite that it wasn't normally what I would have picked up. I was quite surprised to find an absolutely readable and enlightening book which I could not put down....In all the materials I have studied I believe this book is one of the top 10 for understandable and practical spirituality that could apply to anyone of any faith. In fact, the best part is that it had nothing to do with religion, and everything to do with the soul of every person. Well worth more than one read....Hope to see some reprints and other books by this author.

This review is from: 2150 A. D. (Mass Market Paperback)
This book is awsome. My sister loaned me her dogeared copy from 1974. I have read it and now I want to have my own copy. I want to be able to re-read and study the life changing concepts. They are presented in an easy to read format. If you know of a copy for sell, please email me.

Read this book originally in the late 70's and have reread it many times since up to just the past weekend (June, 2004) It's a mixture of mysticism, science fiction, etc that makes you think and re-evaluate your beliefs.

This book is a wonderfully refreshing look at spirituality, and the possibilities that lie within each of us. I particularly enjoyed and have felt freed by the non-judgemental philosophy depicted. I have a request. Does anyone out there know where I can get a copy of the original edition? The later edition had some significant changes and I am really interested in reading again the original. If you know of a copy, e-mail me at flaskows@mail.sandi.net. Thanks.

5.0 out of 5 stars An out of this world Experience!, March 7, 1999
By A Customer
This review is from: 2150 A. D. (Paperback)
Alexander captures the reader in her wonderfully written Sci-Fi Novel. I first read this book when I was 12, I loved it then and I love it now. I've recommended it to many friends who have all loved it too. If you want a book that you wont want to put down, this is the one for you!

5.0 out of 5 stars nothing new or uncommon but fantastically tutoring, May 4, 1999
By A Customer
This review is from: 2150 A. D. (Mass Market Paperback)
Oh, how I found this book is just what it has to tell: "Everything is perfect within the right time and place"...I didn't actually buy it, it was my friend's...I read the preface and decided to borrow...And I have read it 5 times...Underlined many sentences in almost all pages...This book is not a miracle, but it is just the right book within the right time and place in my life...Why? There's nothing new or uncommon or miraculous in it, however, the way it leads the reader to the consciousness of the known values (the values that we can not appreciate with micro-perspectives) is wonderful...You can not start using psychokinetic abilities or telepathy, but you can start accepting the responsibility of your acts, and try to love people...I accept it is not easy, however, every failure is a success, as 2150 AD says...It brightens my soul every time I read it, fills me with joy and happiness.......
