LMAO....This is one funny book and having experienced many such situations that are described in this book....I was laughing my socks off...Brad has captured the quintessential life of a bachelor living in a big city....Apartment parties, vacations, on a plane, going to the gym....we have all gone thru various events that transpired or did not transpire in meeting the opposite sex. Ever wonder what not to do on a first date or when to call after one, whethere to go for lunch or dinner, how you can make a graceful exit? Its all in here..this is The Bible of Dating and a mandatory read for freshman life and beyond in the big city.. Cant wait for the movie version!

What a funny read. Thoroughly enjoyable. Everything you ever wanted to know but were afraid to ask!

Brad Berkowitz seems to know his relationship stuff. I really enjoyed reading this book-- it's a quick read that gave me a glimpse into the "crazy" mind of the man when it comes to relationships and maybe (just maybe-ha) understanding it a bit more. Reading this helped clarify some questions I have, understand how guys think about certain situations compared to how women think and even warned me about things I should or shouldn't be doing if I am interested in a guy.
I recommend this book to both men and women-- it provides through humor helpful tips in regards to dating. It's not a typical dating book though- it's more like the questions you've discussed with your friends over and over and over-- now answered!!
I even picked up some ideas on where to meet men and especially liked his checklist for men. I think ALL men should use it. I like that the list starts with: Don't take a girls number if you will not call. Brad explains that one in the book. Good start.
If you're single and looking for a relationship-- pick up this book and you'll pick up someone wonderful :)

Kudos to Berkowitz for telling it like it is! This "How-To" manual is a must read for dating neophytes and veterans alike. It's a refreshing look at dating in New York City from the guys' point-of-view, yet is still relevant to single men living anywhere (even in Jersey). The author tackles a complex subject often taken for granted in Gotham, and applies real-world experience in a humorous way. Now I'm just waiting for the sequel... The 21st Century Guide to Marriage.

Having spent 14 years as a bachelor in NYC as well, Mr. Berkowitz hits the nail on the head unveiling the nuances of dating in NYC. People tend not to believe you, but dating in NYC is unlike anywhere else. Mr. Berkowitz provides a humorous depiction of this life. NICE WORK! Would like to see a follow up. New York, NY

This was a great short read. Very sound advice, fair, honest, smart and very funny. Who would have known we needed a manual for what should be natural. If you don't read it you'll plod along with bad form. If you do read it you'll be like a well trained Ninja, beautiful to watch and extremely effective. I highly recommend this book!

Wonderful Book!!! Easy to read!! It gives guys great ideas for meeting women, and how to treat them once they find them. (As a women I really appreciate this). It also gives women an insight as to how men think, why they do what they do, and why they don't do what we women want them to. A MUST READ for everyone, male or female, single or married!!! I can't wait to read the authors next book!!!

I just finished this book and it is hilarious. A very quick read, but very informational. Girls, as well as guys, should read this book and learn about the ways guys think.

This book will make you laugh and will provide helpful tips to both men and women regarding dating.

For anyone who has been on the dating rollercoaster, this is a must read.
