I don't know exactly what made me remember Ace Cannon, but when I did, I went searching on Amazon. There was an amazing amount of Ace music available, (good for you Ace) but this CD had all my remembered favorites.
When it arrived, they sounded even better than I remembered. This really is "Good time music"

Ace Cannon a truely talented sax player has been entertaining since the mid 70s. His style is just to be taken as consuming. From his slow rifts to his jazzier toe tapping projects setting the right mood for some serious romance and happy feet times. Skilled in his craft, he also includes a wide variety of style in music. Jazz, blues, funky, romance, relaxing, jitter bug. Seems to have something for everyone. If youve neever given time to listen to any instrumental atrists, I would highly recommend Ace Cannon as a starting poain. There may nopt be a need to go any further

I'm not much on writing reviews but I felt I had to comment on this title. I love saxophone (I own one), I have at least 30 CDs of sax players, and Ace Cannon is a great musician. That said, out of the 3,000 or so albums I've purchased across my life, this easily ranks in the bottom 10.
Yes, a sax can play all the notes in these songs, but what can it add? Streets of Laredo? Swanee River? Cotton Fields? I wonder if Mr. Cannon is ashamed a label took all this filler and made a title out of them? I know I'm ashamed for him. This man can flat play. Look for something else that demonstrates that fact. This particular set of tracks is simply awful.
