Format:Ring-bound
This is a wonderful school memory book for anybody interested in capturing those special pictures and events from the grade school years. The quality of the book is very evident and includes a sturdy hardback cover. The binder format is great and allows you to punch in and add items of your own. The pocket pages inside are very big, thick and durable enough for adding lots of memorabilia. The student pages have colorful,"kid friendly" items to complete. This is the perfect book for parents who want to have a nice looking keepsake album but not spend a lot of time "scrap booking". Great gift idea!

I've looked at lots of memory books for the kids and this one is by far the nicest, most complete, most fun book on the market. The authors obviously have children of their own and know what is important for keepsakes. It is also really up-to-date with places to put picture CDs, etc.

The quality is great - this isn't going to tear and look ragged in a few years, the pages are thick and substantial and are "coated" with something to make little fingers less likely to smudge them. It is highly customizable with everything from a place to identify the child (and the school, if you want) on the cover, to having the child draw on the pages, to blank pages for those special, precious memories. And besides that - the pages are fun! They are cleverly laid out with lots of color and neat graphics.

If you are going to buy a memory book for your children or grandchildren - this is the one.

Odd sized pages January 22, 2011

I bought this thinking that it would be a great way to quickly scrapbook school pictures. I was particularly intrigued by comments that pages can be added, which I thought would work well for after school activities, sports, etc. Unfortunately this book has odd sized pages, which limits pages that can be added to the blank ones included in the package. I have looked in scrapbooking stores and on the internet, and no one makes pocket pages, photo pages or page protectors that are 10" x 12". The only way to make this work if you want to add your own pages is to custom cut every page, then hope for the best that they don't get damaged in viewing because there are no page protectors. This is not going to work for me, and will end up being sent to the charity bin.
