The first one I bought lasted less than six months. I noticed in the fine print on the back of the package that this "brand" is actually made and sold by Feit Electric. I have had bad results with all kinds of bulbs made by Feit Electric (commonly sold at Home Depo) and other stores, so I'm not surprised they are trying to establish (or hide behind ?) a new brand name.

Unfortunately, it has been very hard to find dimmable high light (lumen) output CFL's, most that are available are non-dimmable and the LED high lumen next gen replacements are still too expensive at $30 or $40 per unit.

We decided to forgo the dimmable option and are now changing out all of these bulbs for better quality (GE) non-dimmable high lumen CFLs.

UPDATE: Our electrician friend came by and helped us by removing our in-wall dimmer and installing GE high lumen (even higher than these) CFLs. To our shock, several of the GE CFL's burned out in less than a day. After measuring voltages, checking wiring, and further analysis, it is the opinion of our electrician that the problem is our in-ceiling (these lights are in the kitchen) light fixtures ("cans"). He believes there is a heat problem and the fixtures in our kitchen are closed at the top without any opening to let heat escape. (In contrast, the fixtures in our ceiling in other rooms are in-ceiling, but are open near the socket at the top allowing more air circulation.)

Apparently, all CFL bulbs (and even LEDs) are DC powered and in the base of the bulb there is an AC-to-DC power supply (transformer/capacitor, etc.) which generates heat and that heat is not escaping properly in the kitchen fixtures which are sealed causing the CFL to overheat and burn-out prematurely.
