Useful item.
This adapter has helped me a lot since I lost the original. Everything is fine, except the section of the cord from the computer to the adaptor is very short, so it is uncomfortable if you are on a hight desk.

Shoddy replacement.
Bought the spare adapter back in August. It's January, the cord is already frayed. Substituted the frayed portion of the cord with my original one & now the adapter itself fried. No good. Came back to check if it had a year warranty (as most parts do) and no luck. I'll be buying a genuine HP replacement.
