I absolutely LOVE this CD. It brings back so many good memories from the late 80's early 90's. Man I miss those days before 911 and Katrina! Life was good. This album brings me back to when I used to spend each Saturday all day washing and waxing my car to make it shine for the "cruise" we used to go through later that night blasting this album from our speakers! Woot!, we had so much fun! (Thanks Dino!!!!) Man those were the days! Great feeling when I listen to this music. As for the music itself, I think Dino is an awesome DJ who has a lot of talent! It's a shame he is no longer active since the Legally Blonde soundtrack. I would love to see what he would produce for a modern day album. I'm sure it would be awesome.

The bass is excellent as are the sampling. I had this on cassette and decided to buy the CD so it would last longer. Didn't realize how rare this CD is since it's no longer in production. Glad I bought it! My fav tracks on this album are: I Like It, Summergirls, 24/7, and I really love In The City (Great song to listen to over and over. Nice bass!).

I still remember when Summer Girls came out in the summer of 1988, long before Dino's 24/7 release in 1989. But this album proved that this Las Vegas native could make a solid dance heavy pop album. He has shades of R&B and rap in this album, a rarity from a white male artist. He packs a whole lot in 3 to 4 minutes of the songs, yet keeps the energy full and entertaining on each one. I still like I Like It and its percussion heavy, live sound. It had a freestyle feel so common in some New York area artists like the Cover Girls, Sweet Sensation, Nayobe, Lizette Melendez and others. While his '93 followup didn't have as much response as this gold selling album did, this was a good start for this singer. Very strong singing voice too!

I liked it and it took a very long time in finding this album ironically for one song but, it was well worth the wait.

Remember when it first came out I still lived in Florida. Growing up, being young and restless, car washed, armor-all on the tires, driving with it cranking. The whole album contains elements of Freestlyle, Soul, and Rap. Pretty creative stuff for a white guy from Vegas. Anyways, I had the house broken into and this was an album that was lifted along with a few grand of other antiquities. I was suprised to see the album out of print since it contained some songs(Summer Girls, I like It) that showed up on the top 40 charts.

AND . . . don't forget that the CD has a bonus track named "Night-time Love-Kind" that is a great addition. This album is one of my favorites - I've owned it for 15 years (not always the same disc - people suck when they steal). But seriously, it's always close to the speakers when I need a good shot of memory . . ..

A must buy if you want to just hear some great dance music. One of my all time favorites - brings back some great dance club memories. Perfect summertime listening.

By Far Dino's Best Album From Start To Finish Including The Bonus Tracks. The CD & Cassette Has One Bonus and The Vinyl Has None. You Can Pop This CD In and Jam Without Having To Skip A Track Because There Are No Fillers. When I Worked At A Record Store It Seemed Like He Released Every Song As A Single. Since The Vinyl Was The Item To Buy Back Then and There Were No Bonus Tracks Out Of 9 Songs 6 Were Released As 12inch Singles. A Must Have In Your CD Collection. I Have All Of His and This Is By Far My Fav.

Only got it for one song Summergirls. Happy with my purchase since this was the only way to get the song.
