Great album, May 21, 2010

I originally purchased this CD as a cassette and wore the tape out. The music is not for johnny-come-lately "country" music fans who have been sold that bad third-rate adult contemporary is good country music. This is a traditional country sound. And, for traditional country lovers, it's a great CD, mostly centering around songs about guys who make their living on the road. "Alcohol and #2 Diesel" has some humor about two truckers running a little ahead of schedule stopping off for a drink and getting in the wrong trucks. "Highway Patrol" is about a guy trying for a time bonus and trying to outrun the highway patrol for the bonus. And, most of the songs are very solid. The only song that I don't like on the CD is "Rye Whiskey".
