Looks like 1920 x 1080, based on looking up a couple of on-line reviews.

Right next to the power button, there's a button dedicated to switching between HDMI, VGA, and DVI. Hope this helps.

I had the first problem and called the ASUS support. They said it is not correct. Either get the monitor fixed or replaced. I didn't notice the second problem. But if it happens, I believe that press and hold the most left button on the monitor. The screen will center itself. Best Wishes. Li

Yes, It is very simple. You may need to go to the menu (on the front of the computer screen) select the input option.(each monitor is different) and select the wanted input. Using this method i have hooked up my Xbox 360 and computer to the same computer screen. P.S. Some computer monitors even have an input select button directly on the monitor.
