5.0 out of 5 stars Excellent, safe replacement for wax candles
Useful for lanterns, patio lamps, decorative table lamps - each lasts for 15 hours as advertised. No molten wax mess to clean up, no cleaning out of lamp housings and bases, no odor or smoke. Well worth the extra cost compared to dangerous (fire starting) and benzene emitting parafin wax candles. Just make sure they fit your lamp before you buy.

2.0 out of 5 stars Depends on the application.
If you plan on using this on a aromatherapy oil burner be careful. You can burn the oil out and crack the saucer if not careful. I have the soapstone oil warmer and the ebay seller did not recommend the flame reach permeate the bottom of the saucer. Long story short....these oil burners are taller that regular tea light candles. Seller recommended I go to standard tea...

5.0 out of 5 stars liquid oil candle, August 8, 2010

We've been using these wonderful little candles as altar candles at St. Stephen A.M.E. Church in Hanover,IN. for several years. We place them inside our red glass candle holders and they look great! They burn clean with apure white flame. They are cost effective and mess free.

5.0 out of 5 stars WONDERFUL ALTERNATIVE TO WAX CANDLES, September 7, 2010

Saw these in a bar in Nantucket and I loved the way they looked inside a glass receptacle. I use them on my deck inside of glass vases and also on a silver tray inside clear glass small round glasses and they look fabulous. Much brighter than a regular candle and last a good bit of time.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great Item MUST HAVE for any emergency kit!, September 18, 2011
This review is from: 24 each: Lamplight Ultra Pure Liquid Oil Candle (61155) (Misc.)
These little things are fantastic. They are small, relatively inexpensive and they burn longer, cleaner and especially BRIGHTER than a candle. They are great if the power ever goes out, as they throw off more light than a regular candle and don't go out as easily.

This is the way to go when you get tired of cleaning up wax and these liquid candles last a long time too. I would not use them in a formal setting, which is probably obvious.
