This remote worked fine for about 5 months, then batteries died. Put new ones in and the stored codes were obviously erased as the remote didn't work and had to manually enter the codes again for the TV, DVD, and cable.
According to the manual, the remote is supposed to retain the stored codes for ten minutes. Well sorry GE, it doesn't because less than 2 minutes lapsed during the battery change out.
I really don't know what else to say, I really like this remote, too bad it doesn't live up to its advertised features.
