i just needed a remote for my TV, and this works great. easy to program, and has worked fine.

I have had the remote for about one month now - it works well with my Samsung TV and GE VCR player. It was easy to set up.

This remote worked fine for about 5 months, then batteries died. Put new ones in and the stored codes were obviously erased as the remote didn't work and had to manually enter the codes again for the TV, DVD, and cable.
According to the manual, the remote is supposed to retain the stored codes for ten minutes. Well sorry GE, it doesn't because less than 2 minutes lapsed during the battery change out.
I really don't know what else to say, I really like this remote, too bad it doesn't live up to its advertised features.

Several hand-held remotes in one. Reduces the clutter of remote device. Well made.

Warning if you need the Sleep Timer: I ordered this item specifically because the description stated that it had an Auto Sleep Timer. The photo also shows a button for "sleep." However, when I received the item, it did not have the sleep function, even though it is the correct model number. (There is an "input" button where the "sleep" button is in the photo.) I can't attest to how the remote works, because I had to return it because I need the sleep function.
