5.0 out of 5 stars Replaced the $100 charger, March 8, 2010

This replaced the 3 stage battery charger for my Travel Pro scooter that has 2 - 12VDC batteries. The scooter manufacturer wanted $100 for a battery charger, and the maufacturer of the charger wanted $65. This one works fine and the 3 prong plug fit the scooter's plug without modification.

5.0 out of 5 stars Scooter charger, April 22, 2011

I use this to charge the battery in my Go Chair scooter. The $200 charger went out on me and it was almost as cheap to buy another scooter just to get their charger. I found thi one by searching the internet and this $6 charger beats the $200 charger hands down. It charges faster and the battery lasts longer in stores. Well worth the money. I do recommend it to others.

5.0 out of 5 stars Scooter battery charger, July 14, 2011

The charger was delivered sooner than I expected. I plugged in the batteries to charge overnight.
One battery did not charge so I will have to purchase 2 new batteries.
I was happy to find this battery charger as the original is out of date and I needed to find a replacement.
I did find one but it was $69.00. I searched the internet to see if there was a number for a replacement.
I decided to go on Amazon and search. That is when I found this seller. The price was only $14.54 with tax
and shipping. I am very satisfied and I will use Amazon and this seller (ewooshopping) again.

5.0 out of 5 stars Go-Go Elite Traveller (4 wheel), August 22, 2011
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review is from: 24V 2A Scooter battery Charger with XLR connector (Misc.)
Bought this 'cuz it was cheap and others said it worked with their Go-Go. At first it did not charge up the scooter, (so I was about to return it) but it turns out the old battery was so fried that nothing could charge it!

Got a loaner battery from the store while they ordered me a new, bigger battery. THAT it charged!!

So this will charge both the standard, and long range Go-Go Elite Traveller batteries!

A GREAT BUY!!!! Only $13 + free shipping, versus $40 and $35 shipping for the name-brand replacement. YEA!!:)

We have used this charger for a few days with a Pride Industries "Go-Go" three wheel mobility scooter. It brought the battery pack to 27.35 volts in about 6 hours, then shut off automatically, which is nominal. The charger got rather warm, but no more so than a typical laptop computer power brick. Construction feels light; this charger is half of the weight of the OEM charger that came with the scooter so I have some concern about the build quality, only time will tell if it is decent or a piece of junk. It is so light that I am sure that it does not use a copper wound transformer, and instead is all solid state components. Whether this is a good or bad thing will have to be determined by the gadget's ultimate lifespan. For the low $12 price, if it lasts at least a year or two, I guess I will be satisfied. When and if it fails, I will update this review. The input and output cords are both a couple of feet shorter than the OEM charger's, which is probably part of the low price.

Very fast delivery and the product worked as advertised. The XLR connector was the proper fit and the batteries on the scooter charged perfectly.

5.0 out of 5 stars Saved me from being ripped off!!!, January 22, 2012

I wanted to purchase a charger from Spinlife.com, and they wanted $75.00 for the charger. Then I needed the charger shipped overnight because I need my scooter to get around at my job. In addition to the $75.00 they wanted $90.00, yes $90.00 for overnight shipping claiming the charger was over 5LBs (It is not even half a pound). The total came to $168.00 and I almost paid that. At the last minute I checked Amazon, and there this charger was for $12.00 bucks and with Amazon prime overnight shipping was $3.99. My jaw dropped. I could not believe it $16.00 compared to $168.00. I took a chance and ordered through Amazon and when it arrived I held my breath when I plugged it into my GO GO hoping it was not a scam. I am overjoyed to report that not only did it charge the scooter, it charged it better and faster then the scooter manufactuer's charger that you pay $75.00 for. All I have to say is if are living with a mobility impairment, do your research and make sure that medical supply companies are not ripping you off, just because they know you are dependent on them for your needs. If they do it to us, imagine how they rip off medicare? The country wonders why there is such a huge deficit...
