My mother gave me this book when my kids were little. They are teenagers now and still love to hear the stories each year. It is a treasured family tradition that reminds us daily of the real reason to celebrate Christmas. I am ordering it now for my staff as gifts this year.

I purchased this book because I have Bauer's Seasons of Praise and think it is lovely. It did not disappoint. It is an Advent devotional you can read aloud as a family, as well as a Christmas/Advent idea book. I especially enjoy the music included in each day's reading. The illustrations are warm and sweet. Good book!

This book provides you with a wonderful holiday devotional. It also includes family activities and planning guides to help you through the holiday. I wish that I had had this book years ago! A great gift for Christmas.

A MUST have for families with children!!
This is an Advent book and each day of December has a story, an activity and a song that you can share with your children leading up to Christmas day.
My children looked forward to bedtimes in December as they were growing up, because they knew we would be reading pages from their book, and now that they have children of their own, I bought each one of them a copy so they could share and instill in my grandchildren the memories of a special story and song before bed.
The artwork is lovely and softly done, and the script is well written.
There is just nothing negative that I can think of regarding any aspect of this book! I LOVE it!

This is an excellent book that helps you teach your children about the real meaning of Christmas. It has been a family favorite for years. We start the daily readings on December 1st and they take us on up to Christmas. We are also a singing family, and the Christmas carols in this book also brighten up our Christmas as we gather around the piano each day. I would highly recommend this book. I bought 3 so that I could pass the tradition onto my children.
