Inferior Recording and Slightly Defective, January 30, 2009
This review is from: 25: The Greatest Hits (Audio CD)
Don't waste your money on this inferior recording! Awful remastering.
Disc 1 contains most of their hits. A few tracks were sonically overtuned; the worst is found on Track 1 "Sunrise" and Track 2 "Stars". Electrical static is also audible at short peak on Track 4 "Holding Back the Years", and 11 "Ain't That A Lot Of Love".
Disc 2, I'd only listened to Track 11, "If You Don't Know Me By Now". Not familiar with most of the tracks on this side.
There could be more defects, although recording on few tracks may be satisfactory, but I don't think I'll ever listen to this double cd again.
I'm now looking for the earlier compilation, albeit contain fewer song tracks. Their cover version of "You Make Me Feel Brand New", and "The Air I Breathe" doesn't seem to have impress me.

Simply Great, July 16, 2010
This review is from: 25: The Greatest Hits (Audio CD)
This album is super fantastic. I have almost worn it out I listen to it sooo much. I just love Mick's voice. He can sing anything. I recommend this to all who are Simply Red fans. Great addition to your CD collection. All of his super early hits along with some of his later ones. GREAT ALBUM!
