I purchased this 'education' edition of the book for a poetry class, only to find that some students were using the First Edition, and some were using the Second Edition that I purchased. First, as usual, an 'education' edition is far beyond the price of regular 'popular' books. Second, the poetry arrangement was totally different in each edition; and, several poets and/or poems were simply left out of the Second Edition. Please consult with the instructor before purchasing the book if the class is going to be on the same page together.

The book was more in "acceptable" condition than used. The book seemed very old basically just handled badly, the pages were written on. Just seemed very old due to the previous way of being handled. Acceptable

Quite nice! It was for my school but I did like some poems in the textbook! Sort of expensive for 250 poems though...

The book was a little tattered but that was expected. There was no writing or marks on any of the pages! (:

While to book that came was in fine condition, the shop takes its grand old time shipping the item. I needed this book for school, and I needed it fast. When they went well after the est. ship date, I sent them a email, no response. Then I tried to cancel the order (and this is before it even shipped),wouldnt't do it. I finally got the book a few days ago, and they sent me a generic mass reply. Little to late for that. Also, they included in the reply that once a order is placed, you cannot cancel it. Fishy.

I needed this book for poetry class and bought it on amazon because it was a bit cheaper and I could start reading some of the poems in the book at my leisure. I really like poetry so it is a book that I kept and didn't mind ordering on here instead.

Where would I be if I could not read thee my wonderful book of poetry.
