1.0 out of 5 stars Worthless, July 19, 2005
By

This review is from: 2500 Keywords to Get You Hired (Paperback)
This book is only remotely helpful if you have loads of experience. If you are just starting out in the job market or changing your career path, it's totally worthless. The only way this book would be valuable is if you absolutely could not put together even the semblance of a resume.

1.0 out of 5 stars Deceptive Way to Get You Hired, April 10, 2005
This review is from: 2500 Keywords to Get You Hired (Paperback)
Call it clever, but using keywords to trick the hiring system is not only ethically wrong, but ineffective, especially since some of the keywords are outdated as it is in this 2003 book.

2.0 out of 5 stars OK,I guess, May 21, 2005

I purchased this book just in case I had to post an online resume. As it turned out, I was hired my a small company which hires the old fashioned way. . . through personal connections.

Although more and more corporations are using the online format for recieving resumes and use software filtering systems to make the first cut, the fact remains that most jobs are created in businesses with twenty or fewer employees. And for these jobs, this book is not necessary.
