Great value, arrived well ahead of schedule; pleasantly surprised! Only one disc had error, and that may have been due to my computer. Discovered that you can make the lightscribe image darker simply by running thought a second (and even 3rd) time, and does not matter if you take the disc out to look at it first, as long as you use the exact same image.

I bought a new HP Laptop from the HP website, and I opted for their lightscribe drive. The concept is great, you have the laser inscribe your titles and information right onto the disc's while they are in the drive. How much cooler is that, then handwriting the title for your disc or labeling the information on it with a felt pen?

Product is good, of course, you have to have the lightscribe drive to take advantage of these disc's. My main complaint is that you need to write over it several times as it comes out very light with only one pass. So it is a little time consuming. It is a bit of a personal preference thing as well. Myself, I like the look of it so much better than my lousy penmanship, that I am not as bothered as some of the other reviewers about this issue. Although, it is enough of an issue to keep me from giving it a 5 star rating.

The main reason I wanted to write this review was to emphasis the significant difference in price when I purchased these from "The Price Pros" (off the Amazon website), as opposed to what I would have had to pay if I purchased them off the HP website at the time I bought the laptop. Just being a good consumer, I checked the price on Amazon only to find these were signficantly less expensive on Amazon than on HP (Even after taking into consideration that they were giving me a percentage off on any products I bought at the same time as the laptop). Naturally prices fluctuate, but that was my experience. My recommendation would be to do some cost comparisons on this product.

I always like to include my shipping experience in my reviews - and in this case, it was good. Package arrived in great condition and on time, no issues.
