Very pretty on the website. I loved the idea of a solar-operated fountain for the birds. Copper is pretty but the copper is too thin. Multiple pieces slip fit together which means the bird bath tilts and leans, has little stability. Pushing on the top piece to try to push the pieces together tighter pushed down and deforms the base. We filled the base and the column with concrete to strengthen, but that didn't help much. The bowl tilts readily from the weight of water or even the weight of birds. Solar pump quit working about 3 months after purchase. Very disappointing product. I definitely would not buy again.

I love this fountain and so do the birds. They like to splash in it. I also like the sleek lines of it. It has added pizzaz to my porch. I wish it would not patina, but that cannot be avoided. The little guys don't mind.

Sections are hard to put together. Do not fit together easily. Base acted like a plunger and caved in. Otherwise it is a nice birdbath and fountain. Others I purchased are made better.

We've had this birdbath in our garden for several weeks now, and are completely smitten with it. It's handsome, well-designed, and works beautifully. The water depth is perfect: deep enough for the bigger birds, but not too deep for the little goldfinches. The solar fountain works better than I expected: this time of year, the fountain starts to burble at around 9am, and keeps going until 5pm; the gentle splashing sound is very soothing. Design features that I particularly appreciate are the included copper disc, with which one replaces the solar fountain in the winter (I assume the solar panel might be harmed if the water above it froze), and the fact that the base can be filled with sand or gravel for greater stability. My only less-than-glowing comment is that the copper is a bit thin, and might dent if smacked with, say, a speeding soccer ball. But don't let that stop you - snag one quick at Amazon's great price, and tell the kids to practice in the front yard!

When I ordered this item, all I received were the copper parts that make a birdbath. The solar panel and pump, which make it a fountain, were missing. The replacement was shipped quickly, and it's the same thing, no solar panel and pump. I now have two birdbaths, and no fountain. It's a complete waste of money, and a nuisance to return.

I got this for father's day and gave it to my father early. No pump! This is so irritating. I really just don't want to deal with them after seeing the review where the replacement came without the pump also.

This is a pretty little "fountain," but don't purchase it. The pieces are very flimsy, as others have noted. When mine arrived, it had a hole in the basin. Easily fixed with a touch of caulk, but come on! It wouldn't hold water WHEN NEW. The pump worked great in direct sunlight for about two days, but then it shut down. Turns out, it doesn't function above 95 degrees. I live in Texas, and it's a metal basin, in the sun. . . you do the math. I used it as a birdbath only for about a year and a half, but had constant problems with it not being level, tilting with water in it, etc. Finally, the column broke at the base. I give up, will be buying something else next time.

The order arrived in a timely manner, but missing the solar panel and pump. This was quickly resolved and it has operated for two years without incident in partial sun.

It will not pump unless full sun is on the unit, it looks great even with the patina of age.

I would recommend it, but be aware the copper is a little thin and will bend easily if not handled with care.

After less than 9 mths in my backyard - mine started to rust & fall appart from the weighted pedestal on up. Not rugged enough for outdoors in Texas in anyway. Also, the solar fountain was sporadic at best even in full sunlight. Save your money - not worth the price.
