it's a good mic, but it picks up EVERYTHING. so you have to use it in a quiet setting.

i used the microphone on these headphones for this video --> [...]
you can hear both me, and the cars going by outside the window! (that i could barely hear with my own ears)

also, the markings of right and left rubbed off so i just have to remember that the side with the mic goes in my left ear. :(

Due to a new job which takes me overseas frequently, I have to use VOIP to call back home (or be charged ridiculous hotel telephone fees). My laptop's internal mic and speakers work poorly with Skype, and I needed a highly portable "headset".

The sound quality for both the mic and the headphones are excellent, and feel just like my seinheiser headphones that I use for my ipod. Also the price point is very fair. I also use the headset to watch movies on my laptop.

Great buy.

Update: After 2 months of use, I would have to drop this down to 1 star. The microphone keeps kicking out. Don't bother with this.

It was hard to find a in-ear microphone. Finally i found this. And for the given cost this is a very good product.
It worked very well with my laptop. I liked the product much.
