I really like this doll and the resemblence is remarkable. I have all the Wizard of Oz Barbie collection and am looking forward to someone choosing this from my "Wish List" for Christmas. It will be a wonderful addition to my collection and thanks to Mattel for creating such a wonderful likeness. I love the fact that it looks like Margaret Hamilton and not a cheap imitation. Great collectors piece.

I have been visiting this doll at an outlet center for a month, waiting forit to go down in price. But this one is exactly the same, same box mfg etc., size style etc. and it is rubber. Has anyone else seen a rubber one? I love it. I am trying to find a rubber flying monkey. I want children to be able to play with them, also when i say rubber, I mean just like a regular barbie.

I have been searching for this doll for the longest time. It wasn't carried anywhere in the city that I live in only online. I really don't like ordering things online but if I had known that online was the only way to get one I would have ordered it as soon as she became available. The Wicked Witch of the West and Margaret's portrayl of her made the movie. You must remember that in everything in life there is a good and a bad side and without the bad side things would be boring!

Dolls are a favorite of mine. THE WIZARD OF OZ is an obssesion of mine. To the persons who think dolls are for play you are very wrong. This doll is a porcelain collectors show doll. It's called a conversation piece. How can somebody not love a doll that resembels Margret Hamilton at her best. She is perfect. WHAT A STRIKING RESEMBLENCE. I recommend this to any fine doll collector even if the name is MATTEL. It's beautiful and very educational to any persons who have never really seen the movie. It isn't very durabel because it's porcelain. Not recommended for the rugrats.

Okay, let's get one thing straight right now, only a die-hard fan can actually find this thing worth, well, squat. I am a fan of Judy Garland, and especially the movie The Wizard of Oz. I have all the original dolls, all the Madames, posters, various copies of the movie, soundtracks etc. etc. etc. But this is a DOLL okay. It shouldn't be so much when Mattel's probably paying a buck a piece to have them made overseas with child and slave labor. It's not a work of art, it's a piece of- uh- junk. The darned thing will break if you give to kids (Like all crummy porcelain dolls do.) and despite the resemblance captured here, why would ANYBODY want a realistic doll? Just look at the two words together, it's ridiculous. Dolls are for play and enjoyment, not for a bunch af fat old women to sit around and look at in glass display cabinets. I don't mean to offend anybody by this, I'm pretty old to be collecting Barbies, but the first and worst mistake ever made by Mattel was a line of "Collector" dolls. This thing is totally pointless and worthless.
