This is a great book, easy to read with explanations of why each food is good for us. I especially like the shopping lists at the end that summarize the foods you need for different things like weight loss, more energy, reducing constipation, more energy and endurance, etc.

I've been on the lookout for a list of healthy food ever since obesity had become a serious problem in the country. Books like this, serve as my guide to pursuing a healthier eating habit and lifestyle. With the help of this book, I was able to discover that particular food can help prevent or even cure serious illnesses such as cancer. This is indeed one of the most informative reads that I can ever encounter in my whole life.

I enjoyed the book and it was basic, easy to understand information about foods this author considers to be super foods. At the end of the book there are lists of superfoods for antiaging, antiinflamatory, etc which is helpful at a quick glance. I would recommend the book for basic information.

This book has good information on 27 healthy foods like blueberries, raisins, yogurt, goji berries, etc. Many are commonly eaten foods already, some are more exotic like aloe vera and spirulina.

Each food is listed alphabetically along with information on its nutrients and important health benefits. Then there is a section on easy ways to add it to your diet so those not already eating it will have some ideas.

I found the information interesting and the suggestions helpful. It doesn't have any recipes, though. I think with a few tasty and healthy recipes for each food, it would be even better and worthy of a higher price.

In the back are lists of which superfoods are best for certain uses like weight loss, anti-aging, constipation, energy, chronic pain, etc. Very useful if you have an issue you want to deal with.

Overall, a good book with good info in it. I recommend it. (By the way, the author promised me a $25 amazon gift card for writing this review, but I never received it. You may want to take the other reviews with a grain of salt since those people were probably promised something for writing them, too.)
