The price of the 27W Replacement Bulb for the Sunlight Lamp is a lot cheaper than purchased locally. I'm lost without my Sunlight Lamp for reading a crafts so I keep several bulbs on hand.

It is exactly what I wanted At the right price.This is for my computer desk lamp.The one that came with the lamp is still working but it's 4 years old and has been used at least 4 hrs.a day and sometime (to often) on all nite.But I wanted a back up in case I outlive the original.Thank you Amazon

When I received my Spectrum standing reading lamp, I unfortunately broke the bulb, and misplaced the directions for support. Searching for a new bulb was not difficult. I chose Amazon based on past purchases, and I was rewarded with the correct bulb for my Sprectrum reading lamp, which also has a dim and a full light function. This bulb does exactly what I had wanted, and I would recommend your purchase. Amazon has an outstanding return policy, so if you are not fully satisfied, you will be able to return your purchase for a refund. However, this bulb is exactly what I wanted in a "full sunshine' bulb, and it works correctly with both dim and full light functions in my reading lamp. Yes, I would recommend this bulb from Amazon, and the price is lower than any other on-line inquiry I made. I chose to buy two bulbs from the start, and am completely satisfied with my choice. Been averaging about two years per lamp before I tried my luck at a cheaper bulb. You get what you pay for, about a quarter the price but lasted about 1/4 as long. Could have just been an unlucky bulb, but disappointed none the less.

I like the lamp and am glad I got a replacement bulb, but the bulb came in a package that has already been opened. I hope there is no problem with it when I need it.

I bought this because it's much more reasonably priced than the Lights of America bulb. Well, it was when I bought it for $7.50, I can see the price is now a not so sweet $9.50. My local Home Depot charges $13+ for Lights of America, that's ridiculous. Anyway, it works fine. Can't say if it lasts long but my previous bulb from Lights of America didn't last very long for not a lot of use either.

I have always received mdse that was quality - these sunlight bulbs live up to at least 5 years - this is the 1st time I have had to replace and my lamp is at least 5 yrs old maybe 6.

If you remove (file, side cutters, etc) the small tabs on the base, this will fit a Verilux socket calling for a CFML27VLX bulb.

We were happy to receive the light which was packed well and illuminated brightly as soon as we plugged it in. What more could one expect from a light bulb?
