I have just finished my third week on this program and I'm really happy with the results. I've lost five pounds on the scale, but more importantly my body feels toner and my clothes fit better. The book is very easy to follow. It has separate pages for each of the 28 days of the program with exactly what you are supposed to eat and exercise. There are home workouts...

Unfortunately, I am going to return this book. The weight program is very thorough, but nothing new. The meal plans seemed very restrictive and limiting. All (and I mean ALL 28) of the dinners consist of 4 - 6 ounces of broiled meat or seafood and 12 ounces of a vegetable. Day 21 is 4 ounces of broiled venison with 12 ounces of okra. Day 26 - 4 ounces broiled sea...

I have just finished my third week on this program and I'm really happy with the results. I've lost five pounds on the scale, but more importantly my body feels toner and my clothes fit better. The book is very easy to follow. It has separate pages for each of the 28 days of the program with exactly what you are supposed to eat and exercise. There are home workouts provided but I take this to the gym with me. It makes it really easy to just go through the workout knowing the exact routine. I really like the exercise descriptions which are clear and with good pictures to show exactly what you need to do. I'm excited to keep using this over the coming months. My goal is to lose a total of 20 pounds and get really toned for summer!

I have gained so much muscle and toning since starting this program! It is easy to follow and really not that difficult. The best thing about it is that its not about "more" time at the gym or working out, its about making that time more efficient/effective!
I take it to the gym with me, but it also gives at-home versions of the workouts so if you can't make it to the gym or don't belong to one you can still do the program!
Definitely give it a try and follow it closely- you will see results!

I have done just about every program out there and none have come close to the results I've gotten from this book. I bought it for New Years and in my first go around lost twelve pounds in the month. On my second go around for February I lost another nine pounds. I now can see my muscles and I finally have triceps where the fat used to be! No more jiggly arms!!! I have gotten so many compliments from people in my office and I owe it all to this book. This is now a lifestyle for me and I now know the right way to eat and exercise to keep the weight off forever.

I am very impressed with this book. Buy it today! It is so easy to follow. A person who has never worked out before would feel at ease using it. And, for those who workout often, it is a great way to hone your body sculpting skills and success in less than one month!

Through the use of pictures, the author provides the reader excercises they can use whether at the gym or home. The nutrition plan is easy to follow and has "normal" food. No fluff in the book, no fad diets, no pushing of supplements - just the honest truth. He has done a real service to the public and the fitness industry by creating such a solid book.

I'm 59 and have been lifting weights 5 years. I've read and tried several authors' programs, but only this book has the complete program--like I've never seen before. It has a weight program for those who use the gym, and for those who work out at home--clearly mapped out, clear process instructions, with photos of the movements. It has stretching exercises after every exercise; this is very unusual, and I feel is so important to include to strengthen and heal muscles while avoiding injuries. The streches are also clearly explained and there are photos of these movements as well. The book has an aerobic plan for each week which increases in intensity (based on your personal measurement) to increase your endurance, and your fat-burning capability. Finally, it has a diet plan...and while I don't use it all, there are some excellent suggestions and full explanations for his suggestions. I highly recommend this book--young or old, a seasoned weight lifter, or a person new to weights, a person who works out at the gym, or one who works out at home--it's complete.

I'm two weeks in and I've lost an amazing amount of weight. I have been dieting and excercising for a while now and was plateaued for several MONTHS. After I stared this plan I've lost over five pounds. It's literally melting off. Since all of the food is healthy it's easy to feed my family the same things I'm eating...they're happy about all the meat and I'm happy that we're all slimming down. I'll be in Hawaii in three weeks and I'll probably be in the best shape of my life. (Even before having my child.) I hightly recommend this book - and have been. Several of my co-workers will be picking up their own copy.

One last think, I emailed the author (Brad) with a question, and he was very responsive. I couldn't ask for a better situation.

This book is excellent and easy to follow. It provides easy to follow weightlifting and cardio workouts, in addition to great meal plans, which are extremely effective and reasonable. I highly recommend this book!!

I bought this book with 20 pounds to lose and after deciding against a personal trainer because of the expense. This book is a great substitute for a personal trainer and has definitely delivered the results. I have lost 6 pounds in only 3 weeks, and haven't even followed the book's nutrition plan (I am following my own plan, which isn't as strict as the one in the book).

For all those people out there slaving away on the treadmill or elliptical machine, this book proves that resistance training is key to losing weight the right way (without losing muscle) while building and toning the right muscles. Only 1.5 hours of cardio a week, and my body looks much better than previous times I've lost weight doing cardio alone. Plus, this program focuses on interval training for the cardio portion, which improves your overall cardiovascular performance much quicker than a flat pace, no matter how long you keep it.

The day-by-day plans make the program easy to follow and stick to, and there is a great deal of variety in the resistance training. The book also has in-depth explanations of each portion of the resistance training, with great pictures, so that inexperienced exercisers don't have to be embarassed at the gym or confused at home.

There is also a lot of great information on the finer points of fitness and nutrition, complete with easy to follow scientific explanations and lots of good sense. You will definitely believe that this author knows what he is talking about while you read the book, and the results will speak for themselves.

I found following this 28 Day program very easy and got great results. A hard body. I followed this program by doing the 28 day routine every other month for 1 year. I loved the day-by-day instrutions, and I liked that the weights took between 30 to 40 minutes while the cardio took only 30 minutes per day. And having a rest day every seventh day was very nice too. It allowed your body to recover. Simply stated, this is the best fitness book and program I have ever used. You just follow the day-by-day instructions and you complete your daily exercise within a 30 to 40 minute time period.

I have access to a gym but no time. This book was perfect for me because it has instruction for flexible workouts, either daily short ones or more intense fewer ones. It also shows a "home" version of each exercise without the gym equipment use. I didn't care about the food suggestions, but the exercises were clearly explained and had plenty of pictures. It is well organized and easy to follow.
