This is great for the DYI-er and a very handy way to keep all the commonly/frequently used little hardware tchochkies in one EZ to find place. And without meaning to sound condescending or sarcastic, it's also a great way to acquaint someone who is either all thumbs or not well-versed in the art and science of everyday household hardware with the most commonly used fasteners and how to use them.

Plastic box has refillable compartments.

Nice assortment of hooks, wire, anchors, and screws for mounting on picture frames and hanging on the wall.

This review might be a little off, since I haven't used everything in the set. The main reason I bought it, though, was for the drywall screw brackets - and they don't work very well. They don't latch into the wall much, and in fact I have one stuck inside my drywall at the moment.

It does have a lot of other stuff in it though that I may need around the house.

I'm not sure what I expected, but I was a little underwhelmed with this. It was on sale, so I can't complain. But I think some of the pieces are useless and others are just extras to take up space. It's also pretty tiny and the lid doesn't always snap shut, so any thoughts of re-using the container should be forgotten. Nails, hangers, wire are all in good condition and work... but you might be better off buying exactly what you need at Home Depot or Lowe's.

A little expensive. I could have gotten more for the money at a Home Depot. Arrived intact, pieces do look a little cheap, but hold up well. If you're as lazy as me, ordering it online works, but once again, you can get more for your buck at a store.

I ordered this for a housewarming gift. She was very pleased. It is one of those things when you move into a house you forget you need until you are in the middle of a project. She was very grateful. I may order one for myself too!

At the current 9.99 price and Prime free shipping, this seems like a fair value to me. You get a handy case plus a decent assortment of hangers, hooks and doo-dads for hanging things on the wall. Great if you just moved into a new apartment or home. As someone else here mentioned, a nice house-warming gift, or maybe a stocking-stuffer for Christmas?

My set had 5 large picture hanger hooks (rated 50 lbs but I would not go over 25), and 15 med-small size (rated 20 lbs but I say 10). They're not top quality, but seem adequate. There was some wire (about 6 ft. so you'll probably need more) and a gob (they say 50, I did not count 'em) of the small eye screws for same; 10, 25, and 40 each of small, medium and large screws, 7 medium-large hook-style screws (like you would hang a cup on); 12, 20, and 35 each of large, medium, and small plastic :fish" anchors (you stuff into a pre-drilled or existing hole to provide purchase for a screw). 10 large (1 1/4 inch) right angle "square" hooks, and 20 med-small (7/8") size right angle "square" hooks. Finally, 10 1 inch and 30 1.5 inch nails (pan head). All in all a decent assortment for 10 bucks, I think.

This is a pretty good set to have around for the odd job and convenient in the carrying case with handle.

It is a tiny case with many basic things. Since its arrival I have installed a few things because I was too lazy to go to my local hardware store. However, the case is really sensitive and it looks like it is going to break any minute now!
Other than that everything is great, all the material inside is good quality!

This set is great for hanging pictures and general home use. I live in an apartment so I didn't need a huge set, and this one is nice because it's small and compact but has everything you need.

Very standard set. Has most of the stuff you need to hang pics around the house. If you have very heavy pieces I would recommend something bigger.
