The phone works great. I only wish you could remove the cord to put in a longer one on the handset. I had purchased an extra long cord and could not change it out.

Bought this phone for our kitchen, along with a longer cord because this one looked pretty short. The website even suggested a cord to purchase along with this phone. When we got the phone, we realized that you couldn't unpug the cord from the phone without dismantling the phone. One end of the cord is actually internal, so no changing out the cord. The cord is so short you can't move more than a few feet from the phone.

I really dislike this phone. The phone itself works just fine; the cord is a real problem. On my phone, the cord has become hopelessly twisted and nothing I do seems to straighten it back out. It makes answering the phone a chore, since the handset usually comes with the phone when I try to pick it up. If I could replace the cord, I would. However, the cord is wired to the phone and handset and not replaceable. I would not buy this phone again.

Wired, land-line handsets are almost extinct. However, I do like to have at least one conventional handset in the house that doesn't depend on batteries or house power. This handset fits the bill. Sleek and functional with a caller-ID screen.

The phone is not wall mountable (as it states it is in the instructions). The handset does not sit on the cradle when its mounted. The phone would only let me dial local numbers and I get error messages most of the time when I dial phone numbers with area codes or use instructions that comes with the phone then told me to call my phone company. Totally useless phone and customer service!!!
