That's why Crucial thoroughly tests EVERY module they sell and put their name only on the ones that meet their strict standards. You might expect memory this good to cost a lot more, but you'd be wrong. As an online memory upgrade provider selling directly from the manufacturer, Crucial memory is often available at lower prices than lower-quality modules.

I purchased this ram for my Pavillion dv6000. I no longer have endless load times, and the random crashes/ freezes have stopped. I saw the same ram at Office Max for more than double the price. I am very pleased with the fast super saver shipping. Great purchase.

OK, I have this old HP Pavilion laptop. I keep it around because there are a few things I do that require Windows. I don't need it much, but when I do need it, I REALLY need it. The problem is, it's four years old and even web browsing slows it down.

I finally got sick of drumming my fingers while I waited for it. Happily, with this memory kit, I was able to significantly improve the performance of the old computer.

Whenever you buy memory, double check your computer's specifications and then check them again. If you don't buy the right memory, it just won't work.

For me, this worked great in an HP Pavilion DV6000 series laptop, which, though old and getting slow, remains the only computer I was ever really happy with. Hopefully this memory, which was easy to install and arrived much sooner than I expected, will keep the old machine running for another couple of years.

My computer was slowing down significantly, freezing on a regular basis, all the good stuff and I realized my RAM was maxing out. The DV6000 only has 1GB of RAM from the factory! I installed these and my five year old laptop is running much faster now. It takes about 60 seconds to install if you know what you're doing.
