I bought these as a gift for my friend's father or had been looking for glasses with this purpose enabling him to cut his toe nails easily. As strange as the need for them was, he was able to get a better cut on his nails (according to him) and not have to strain his eyes. I decided to try watching TV with them after his feedback and it literally doubled the size of their TV without any awkwardness -- couldn't tell if anything had been magnified by blurriness until I removed the glasses. On suggestion I will say is to make another model that has a swimming goggle-type strap to allow people to use them outside while doing activities such as bird watching or hunting without the worry of them ever falling off one's head.

From what I read of this product I was anxious to buy it and try it out. When it came, I put them on and focused on the tv and immediately knew I wasted my money. I didn't even want to return them but took them over to the trash and threw them out! Sure, it magnified the tv but you could only see a portion of the screen at one time. The optical quality was absolutely terrible as well. This product should be sold as a novelty item for less than $5. Live and learn...
