I never have like earbuds but I wanted a pair of earphones that I could go out in and not look like a dufous (my sennheisers make me look like an airplane pilot lol), and I had read very good reviews for these so I decided to try them. The reviews werent lying. These are very comfortable and snug in the ear, and they sound awesome. And the price is great too. If you are looking for some nice inexpensive earbuds, these are for you.

*UPDATE*: Unfortunately after about 4 months of daily use, these have begun to short out so badly that I cannot listen to them any more. I replaced them with a pair of Skullcandy Ink'd earbuds, which I am happy with so far, although I just got them less than an hour ago. I still recommend these, however, because 4 months is a pretty good amount of time.

I actually bought these about a year ago as a replacement brand for skull candy earbuds. I was having problems with skull candy because the silicone ear piece kept falling out of my ears at the drop of a hat, no matter what size I used. Then I found that the adhesive was cheap and the bud itself would come apart. Plus the max time I could get out of them without one of them shorting out was about 3 months, Oh right and the the price for them went up... But snake eyes are cheaper, have a richer sound quality and they lasted me for about a year, on a constant day to day basis. I NEVER had problems with the ear piece falling out OR apart. The only problem I've had with them so far is that the best buy I bought them from doesn't carry them anymore so now I have to order them on amazon.

I really like the sound and feel of these headphones. They come with 3 different sizes of tips and fit in the ear nicely and snugly. I have never liked ear buds because they always fall out and hurt my ears after a while.

I have worn these for hours on end with no ill effects. They also sound great.

I bought two pairs of these at Best Buy a couple of years ago to replace Sony Fontopias whose wire had become broken somewhere and have been impressed with the quality of this 2XL pair. I used one pair virtually everyday for jogging/walking and/or to the gym and sauna. It hasn't broken or even shown any signs of destruction.

It was about $15 which is much cheaper than the flimsier Sony Fontopias and their thin wires and wire insulation. The sound seems pretty good. Maybe the Sony Fontopia's sound is slightly fuller-range, but my ears usually can't tell the difference.

I've gone through several sets of headphones in my day that would die on me, so when i went to bestbuy i just wanted something cheap... the sound quality of the snake eyes is phenomenal, the bass is rich, the treble is never whiny, it cancels all ambient noise, the cord is a good length. this was the best pair of headphones i've ever owned. the one complaint i do have is that the tips are vastly different sizes, so when i lost the middle set, the small ones were too small and big ones were too big.. i wish they sold replacement tips. aside from that, i would highly recommend this product!

After having gone through multiple ear phones, settled on this one, after reading the reviews on this site. So far I am happy with the product. I hope it will outlast all the previously used sets.

I have been using these earbuds for over a year now. I have always been a fan of earbuds, but comfort has always been a problem. I've tried some of the higher end earbuds, and while sound quality was excellent, I could only use them for about an hour at time before my ears started to really hurt. These Snake Eyes are amazing, I keep them in all day while I work and never have any pains. So they are on 8 hours a day, 5 days a week, and been doing that regularly for over 6 months now. The sound quality is better than advertised for these too. As other reviewers have pointed out, the rubber portion that goes in your ear forms a really good seal that greatly reduces surrounding noise. If you feel that you aren't getting a good seal, try using a larger rubber piece since they come with options.

I can't recommend these enough, they are a great buy.

I got tired of giving "Xony" $40 every 4 monthes for ear phones that lost 1 channel so I tried 2XL's priced at $15. They sound just as good and they are very durable ! I got my 2XL earbuds caught in gym equipment exposing the copper wire and they still played. I left my last set on a plane, my current set is a year old. Go get a couple pair !

I have tried over a dozen of different in-ear headphones. The key to good sound with in-ear are how well they seal and the overall placement when they are in your ear. Some create a suction and even though seal well hurts your ears when in and when you pull them out. Others just don't seal well at all. I love some of the higher end in-ear headphones from Shure and others, but they only are able to wow me with their great sound when I hold them in my ears or not move my head at all.

Having said all of that the 2XL headphones are the best fitting of any I have tried with absolutely no suction effect at all. The black rubber part that goes in your ear is more of a matte finished rubber instead of shiny and has a bit of texture to it. This helps with eliminating the suction effect. Also the way the plastic part is shaped it brings it out of your ear more than say iFrogz headphones which go straight down. This helps keep them in while you move your head, but does not add the weight and pulling effect like the Shure ones. I'm not sure if its by accident or if they really did their research, but these 2XL headphones are perfectly shaped.

The sound although not as good as Shure in-ear headphones or V-moda in-ear headphones definitely hold up with various types of audio. Passive noise isolation is incredible due to the way these sit in your ear. Comes with three sizes of ear inserts. The default medium seemed to work best for me.

I wouldn't recommend it, but just to let you know these held up through a complete cycle through the washing machine. All earbud/in-ear headphones I have owned eventually go through this test unfortunately. The ifrogz quit in one ear. The Shure ones are very quiet, and the other ones quit all together. These have kept working. Again, not a recommended endeavor, but good to know nonetheless.

Only have owned them for a month so I can't yet comment on the long-term durability, but I would have no problem buying another pair in 4 months if they only hold up that long like in a previous reviewers experience. I expect them to last longer, but also I don't feel as if I need to be as careful with these as I do with a pair from Shure or V-moda which are much more expensive. Pick up two pairs of the 2XL in-ear headphones and you won't be sorry. Tell me how you like them. Though I must warn you I won't be able to hear you with my pair of 2XL headphones in my ears.

These ear-buds are just great. Sound real good and have wonderful bass. I am very happy with them and have since got another pair for back ups. Can't beat that!
