5.0 out of 5 stars The Best Soundtrack of Pokemon, October 18, 2001
This review is from: 2ba Master (Para ser un Maestrol) (Audio CD)
Well, when I first saw Pokemon I didn't like it very much because I didn't know the story and the characters, but when I first heard Rocket team saying their motto and the song that is called in english "Double Trouble", I just loved them and then I began to watch the series. The funny thing was that I found the soundtrack and I loved the series much more.

In spanish "El Equipo Rocket" Team Rocket are very funny because of the dubbing style that the actors use and that's why sometimes James says in his motto "Jamemememes", actually that's kind a joke and I love it.

The best songs are of course "Equipo Rocket" (Double Trouble)Team Rocket song which is by the way a very funny song, "Por Siempre Unidos" (Together Forever) which is an excelent song, "Tengo que ser un maestro" (2BA Master), "Que clase de pokemon eres tu?" and "Mis mejores Amigos" are very good too.

If you have enjoyed Pokemon in english, try this one out and enjoy it in another language, it is worth for having and listen or at least if you are a fan of Pokemon you can have it as a rare and nice collectable.

4.0 out of 5 stars Surprisingly good, December 16, 2000

This review is from: 2ba Master (Para ser un Maestrol) (Audio CD)
Having listened to the superb English version of this CD, I bought this version to see what the music would sound like in a different language. Like it`s US counterpart, the Team Rocket song (called "Equipo Rocket" in Spanish) is the funniest song and "Tengo Que Ser Un Maestro Pokemon" (2BA Master) is a very good track - though you may find it tricky to get your tongue round it, as the Spanish singer talks very fast!

"Cancion De Misty" (Misty`s Song), though not as lively or upbeat as some of the other tracks, is really rather sweet - fuelling speculation about her *true* feelings towards Ash. Thankfully the singer sounds a little more grown up than the Britney Spears a-like on the American CD.

"Que Clase de Pokemon Eres Tu?" (What Kind of Pokemon Are You?) is spoilt by the slightly disturbing Spanish rap vocals, and the singers sound slightly out of tune on tracks like "Por Siempre Juntos" (Together Forever).

This CD also includes the Spanish version of the PokeRap song, and the music video to play on your computer. It captures the spirit of the show well and despite a few weak songs, overall is worth a listen even if you own the CD in English.

5.0 out of 5 stars Para Ser Un Maestro Pokemon, September 30, 2000
By A Customer
This review is from: 2ba Master (Para ser un Maestrol) (Audio CD)
I just finished listening to this por la primera vez, and there are lots of good songs that I'm sure I'll enjoy listening to during boring commutes in my car. I don't know anything about music really, so I will keep it short. There is one thing I don't like, being a Team Rocket fan, and it is that James sounds rather... ridiculous... they only got through the first two lines of the motto in Mewtwo Strikes Back (Pokemon: The First Movie), so I don't know if the way they do the motto in the "Equipo Rocket" song is the way they always do it in the Spanish version. But if it is, apparently their strategy for dealing with "James" obviously having fewer syllables than "Kojiro" is to have him say "Jame-a-ma-mames" or something like that. Okay, I like the English version of that line... So, aside from that, it's a cool CD, and I needed something to listen to that was in Spanish :)

5.0 out of 5 stars It's Worth A Look., July 8, 2000
This review is from: 2ba Master (Para ser un Maestrol) (Audio CD)
Altough I don't understand a word they're saying, this is a good CD to just sit back, and enjoy the music without worrying (Or caring) about what their singing about. Plus if you're a die-hard Pokemon fan this is a nice collectable.

4.0 out of 5 stars That was unexpected..., July 7, 2000
By
This review is from: 2ba Master (Para ser un Maestrol) (Audio CD)
I wasn't expecting this CD to be released in Spanish. Both the English and German versions of this CD were superb, and I hoped that this would also be good. However, I was disappointed by the "Pokémon Thema" song. It sounds as though the lead singer is going somewhat out of key, and he struggles with some of the notes. In contrast, the "Tengo Que Ser Un Maestro Pokémon" (2 B A Master) rocked - an absolutely superb track! Other tracks, such as "Cuidad Viridian" and "Llego la Hora" (The Time Has Come) are good too.

This CD is, of course, recommended to any Spanish speaking people, but even if you don't speak Spanish, this CD is still worth buying. Not necessarily a must buy, but worth considering if you've got some cash spare.
